The YMCA of the Central Bay Area provides high quality, affordable Preschool and Before & After School child care to nearly 1,000 children, giving them a safe and enriching start to learning while mom and dad are at work.
Like you, we want to give your kids everything they need to become confident children today and healthier, happier grown-ups tomorrow. That’s why our YMCA Child Care curriculum incorporates daily physical activity, creative learning, individual attention and parent involvement into a variety of age-appropriate activities that focus on character development. Through independent exploration, structured activities and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science and social studies concepts, all while having fun and making friends in a positive and encouraging environment.
For our Preschool programs, activities are planned to provide the perfect blend of fun and learning for your children, allowing kids to be kids while ensuring that they’re ready to enter kindergarten. Once they’re in school, our Before & After School program provides your kids with the time, space and support they need to do their homework, explore their talents and interests and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for learning.
